Bathing requires warm and comfortable space – by temperature and also by colour. The requirement for soft furnishings depends as much on geographical location as the build, and insulation – whether there are curtains or shutters, blinds or screens; warm colouring and rich textures can help a cool-ish room, whilst sheer window coverings and all white bathrooms work really well where the air is warm, or warmer outside than in.
